hello everyone!
it's been a week since the holidays have finished, and it has flown by. i'm missing jess so much. i spent the whole 2 weeks of the holidays with her, which was the longest that i've spent with her at one time. i loved every second that i got to spend with her.
now, what happened? well...
the 26th, the friday, i got into brisbane after getting up at 3:30 that morning that night jess, her mum and i went to see transformers, and after that, jess and i went to go see the proposal, which is an awesome movie! well, they both are lol. the 27th jess and i went to see the paris ballet, in the city, which had really really pretty costumes and nice music, but unfortunately, was very calming and when mixed with glarey lights, nearly put us to sleep lol. i got huge blisters from the shoes that i was wearing... it knocked a lot of skin off too, which i still have scabs from lol. the sunday i went to work with jess in the morning, and realised that i was getting sick... lol. stupid city. monday and tuesday was just sleeping, drinking, reading, nose blowing, and i went to work again with jess lol.
on wednesday jess and i went grocery shopping with her mum, and jess got me slippers so i could give her hers back lol. we then spent the rest of the day watching the L word curled up in her arms. thursday the 2nd of july we went to the movies with millie and saw "ice age 3" in 3d, and right after that "year one". um... the next day was dedicated to watching the L word again, and then jess and i went to chermside and picked up ethan and dad, and went to sizzlers for dinner the saturday i went to work with jess again, and when we got back home we got ready and went to an 80th birthday party at jess' parents friends place sunday we went out to breakfast with jess' parents, and then jess had to go to work, so i stayed at home and watched a movie.
wednesday the 8th jess and i drove up to coloundra and saw my niece, sapphyre, which was a fun time... we took her to target and bought her a dora phone lol, and jess brought the spongebob squarepants version of "operation", the board game. coming back, we dropped in on jess and i got to see tidus for the first time he's such an adorable baby, so cute and cuddly, no matter how grumbly he got lol. we completely surprised her, cuz when i'd texted her earlier that day i hadn't realised that she didn't know my number, and thought it was another of her friends. she also told me that earlier that day geoff had proposed to her on top of the brisbane eye we got to watch a video of it, and it was so adorable!
on the 9th we took millie coloundra way again, and this time we went to bellingham maze, which was so much fun! i'd been there before, but it was still awesome with jess and millie! we went back to the target we'd been to the day before, and jess brought some more games, as well as her toy goat that sang the song from "the sound of music", and millie got a toy dog that rapped to her lol.
the 10th finally came round, jess' and my 1st year anniversary, and we exchanged gifts after me finishing my gift to her for most of the morning lol. i had drawn a picture of us together, taken clippings from that days paper, and put it all together in a collage, and framed it she gave me a really really pretty set of song lyrics, all printed out on nice paper and framed (its so gorgeous, and is currently hanging on my wall), a really pretty key chain, the days paper, and our marriage certificate to be filled out on the day we'll get married we then went to the tree top walk at o'reily's, lamington national park, near the gold coast. the view on the drive was spectacular, and even though it was freezing (jess brought us jackets from there), it was such a beautiful walk we then had lunch there, and it was really yummy... chicken snitzel and a vegetarian lasagne, so so so nice. then chocolate cake and scones to wash it down lol
the saturday after, we went to work, then when we got home we watched "milk" and "freedom writers", two really good movies especially "milk" the sunday i went to work with jess again, and we had hungry jacks for lunch while watching the "michael jackson top 50 countdown" on max, with "thriller" being number 1 lol. that night i was sitting and watching jess while she was on the computer (wow that sounds stalker-ish lol), and then she suddenly told me to close my eyes. i did, and she handed me a ring, which i adore it was to be my original engagement ring, but it didn't happen like that lol, so she gave it to me for our 1st year anniversary
monday was the sad day, as it was the day i came home. i hated leaving her, i still do. but it was a good two weeks, and i got to see her again last thursday and friday, cuz i was in brisbane for my legal trip, which was awesome! lol. on the friday she gave me this adorable toy panda named pez. he's so soft and cuddly!
wow i think i've written enough, so i'll leave it here lol. i'll write more about the legal trip next time if i remember lol.
